Site of Market Windmill.
Also known as North Middle Mill.
Of probably 16th century date.
Licence to install an automatic fantail run given in 1769. Pulled down in about 1850.

The mill is marked on (S2); was last used 1846, and was sold 'to be removed' April 1854.
