Summary

This is the site of a post medieval smock mill, built in the late 18th century. The smock mill was replaced by a tower mill in 1825, which was demolished in 1881.

Built 1765, demolished in about 1881, the last mill to operate on the Denes.

Known as Jetty Mill.
A smock mill replaced in 1825 by a tower mill and last used 1879. Materials for sale January 1881 but sale 'postponed in consequence of the atrocity of the weather' to 2 February 1881.
