24 July 1978. Stray finds found 'in a field near Pentney Priory', when hoeing mangolds.
The artefacts found here date from various periods and include a medieval copper alloy purse frame (S1), Roman coarse greyware and burnt Samian and a silver shilling dated to 1583.
