Full Description
Pre 1973. Exact site unknown.
Neolithic flints from Tittleshall: oval, worked flake?, grey, 8cm x 5cm.
Quadrilateral flake, 8 x 8cm, grey with some cortex, sharp, edges at two sides but barely any trace of working on them.
Core with small flake scars, 6cm long, base diameter 3cm, grey cortex on one side. Small triangular wedge shaped flake, worked along edge of wedge, 5cm long, brownish grey flint, cortex one side.
Small spokeshave?, curved, grey flint, 5.5cm long.
1973 finds are in KLM [1].
1975.
Also a polished flint axehead (part-polished), pale flint, part of one end missing, around 13cm long.
Axe retained by finder.
