Summary

A silver hammered medieval halfpenny, probably of Henry III, was found by metal detecting at this spot. One fragment of undated pottery has also been found on this site.

October 1979. In pasture known as Buttercup Meadow. Metal detecting. Found 3.5cm (1 1/2 inches) below surface.
