A possible medieval moat is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs and as a low earthwork on visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2018.

The possible medieval moat is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs from 2018 (S3) and 2025 (S4). The possible moat is also visible as a low earthwork on visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2018 (S5). As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is likely that the moat still surives as a low earthwork.
