The revised listing 1994 explains that the building is early 16th century with a rear wing of 17th century date which has fossilised the original external four centred doorway - the Tudor door mentioned above. The wallpaintings are on the north partition wall and cover the studs as well as the plaster; the centre studs have mortises for another four-centred doorway. Sunk quadrant moulded bridging beam in south room. Roof of expanded principal studs bearing arched braces to chamfered tie beams; one pair of crude queen struts. Crosswing roof has two tiers of butt purlins.
