Summary

This is the site of a post medieval windmill, probably built in the early 19th century. The brick base of the mill survives, and it was last used in 1959.

Site of wind mill.
Marked on (S1), but not on (S2).

Brick base of tower mill survives, now roofed overall with attached range of sheds, about 3m high.

It last worked in 1883.
If this is, as appears, the mill shown in (S3) then it seems to have been a smock mill.
The reference states it was not demolished until after 1959.
