Summary

This is the site of a windmill marked on 19th century maps of the area. This towermill was built in 1826, was damaged in a gale in 1895 and was demolished in 1941.

Site of wind mill.
Marked on (S1), but not on (S2). (S3) still marks what appears to be the mill, but it is not now evident above the surrounding houses (visited 1978) though the base may conceivably survive.
