Summary

According to an Ordnance Survey map of 1836 a windmill was once located here. The mill does not appear on a 1797 map but was noted on a map of 1826, so it was presumably built after 1797 and before 1826. Records show that the mill here was owned by same family from 1830 to 1888.

However, (S2) marks the mill at site NHER 15261 which is not on the (S2). Perhaps it was moved eastwards.
