Summary

This is the site of a post medieval windmill. In 1824 it was brought from a site in Tacolneston and built on this site. It was last used in 1896 and demolished in September 1932. The sails were taken to Herne Bay Mill, Kent, before being fitted to Thaxted Mill, Essex, in 1973.
