Summary

Metal detecting in this area during 1980 and 1988 recovered a variety of objects. Finds of note included a prehistoric flint flake, a Roman brooch and key fragment, part of a possible Early Saxon brooch and several medieval coins. Sherds of Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery were also found.
