Full Description
Late 1970s. Forestry Commission plantation, north of Drove Road, west of Fossditch. Circumstances of discovery unknown.
Grave cut into chalk, containing human skeleton.
Large iron knife about 30cm (12in) long.
Rim and neck of white fabric flagon, compare with example Cam.139 except flat, rather than round sectioned handle.
Flagon seen by A. Gregory (NAU) 18 April 1980.
Skeleton and knife retained by finder whose name was not revealed.
