Summary

An early 17th century large house, possibly a manor. The house was added to in the 18th and 19th centuries and was much restored in the late 20th century. However, many original features remain, including a brick arched fireplace. The 18th and 19th century brick stables and outbuildings have been converted to houses and workshops. There is a World War Two brick and concrete air raid shelter in the garden, mostly buried.
