April 1980. Field Observation.
Long late 17th century brick building of six bays, the northern two with larger windows. Shaped gables at each end. North has chequered brickwork and traces of old windows, but mostly hidden by rendering. Mostly of brick, but south end of flint. Does it incorporate an older house? Window beside door is wood mullioned and transomed. Wooden pillared porch. [1] notes a long mullioned and transomed stone window is this the same as above, one version (stone or wood) being a mistake, or another? Also an unusual stair tower. He believes it is early 17th century, which could be correct.
Information from (S2).
