Summary

Angel Cottage and the outbuildings behind it contain many reused 15th century carvings. The outbuildings are centred on a massive wall with a 15th century arch and several tons of huge reused fragments found lying about. These are from Little Walsingham Priory (NHER 2029). The name of the house derives from a fragment with an angel figurine used in the façade of the house. A fragment of 12th or 13th century grinding vessel (mortar) was also used in the building.
