Summary

In 1980 a number of prehistoric flints, medieval and post medieval pottery sherds were recovered from the ground surface here. One of the flints was identified as a blade.

1980. East of Grove Lane. Surface finds.
4 flint flakes, 3 sherds lead glazed earthenware (17th-18th century).
7 medieval sherds (one rim 12th century).
Finds held by NCM.

Flints are in fact three flakes and one blade.
