North bank of Bure, about 100m east of Park Bridge.
Found with metal detecting.
Badly worn antoninianus of Carausius, PAX AVG type, but too worn to identify to RIC.
Identified by A. Gregory (NAU) 18 May 1980.

Also a post medieval copper alloy furniture fitting, in shape of double leaf with volutes and two projections at join; hole at tip of each leaf for attachment.
Perhaps for leather if not for furniture.
