Summary

In the early 20th century a number of Iron Age coins were found somewhere near Haddiscoe village (but exactly where is uncertain). They were given to children as toys and were lost sometime before 1980.

Probably in 1930s. Somewhere near Haddiscoe village, but exact site unknown.
Dug up 'handfuls of tin coins'.
Were identified in 1980 (by showing informant [1] drawings and photographs of other finds) as Iron Age potin coins.
Coins used as toys by children and presumed lost.
