NHER 16178 (Monument record) - Site of medieval/post medieval livestock market and multi-period finds

Site of Kipton Ash Fairstead.
Large cattle fairs held in late medieval to 19th century when ruined by outbreaks of disease.

Pre 1980.
Informant [1] found many oyster shells, post medieval coins on this field forming a salient in the parish boundary which is noted by local tradition as the fairstead.
