Full Description
Site of wind pump.
Marked on 1836 1st edition 1 inch Ordnance Survey map (S1).
E. Rose (NLA), 18 July 1980.
According to informant this was a wind mill, post mill shown on Bryant 1826. Last used 1896. He believes site NHER 14984 on Faden (S2) may be a mistake for this.
E. Rose (NAU), 24 March 1982.
The windmill is also shown on Bryant's map of 1826 (S3), who marks a brick kiln beside it.
E. Rose (NLA), November 2001.
