Compiled by E. Rose (NAU), 24 July 1980.

Mid 19th century brick, circular; vaulted passage; filled bell with chutes.
Information from Listing Grade II 1985 (S1).
Compiled by E. Rose (NAU), 4 April 1986.

Part of the bell was removed to destroy a tree sapling growing with that could be potentially damaging. As of 1992 the tree was re-growing and it was suggested that the top of the bell be removed again to kill it and the top be replaced with an inspection hatch to avoid further brick damage.
