Summary

This is the site of a windmill built in 1828. It was a smock mill, and was powered by wind until around 1933. It was dismantled in 1938, and a circular summer house was built on the base.

Marked on 1836 1st edition 1inch Ordance Survey map (S1).
Apparently building is still marked on 1958 6 inch Ordnacne Survey but this not revised since before 1930.

Smock mill built 1828. Last miller by wind 1933. Dismantled 1938.
What the Ordnance Survey marks is a circular summer house built on the base.
