Summary

In 1980 two sherds of medieval pottery were found in spoil heaps here. The heaps comprised topsoil that had been excavated during the laying of pipes.

August 1980. Found a short distance from each other in heaps of topsoil removed for pipelaying.
Two medieval sherds; one black/red fabric; one hard grey interior, reddish exterior, traces of green glaze.
