Summary

A medieval stone coffin, parts of two others and fragments of carved stone were seen in the grounds of The Hall in 1980. They were said to have come from medieval Shouldham Priory. Their current whereabouts are not known.

Stone coffin about 2m long, tapering, and fragments of two others, now piled under rubbish in cart shed.
Large stone carved fragments, including column bases, around tree behind house. Said to come from Shouldham Priory.
Shown to E. Rose (NAU) by farm foreman.

5 July 1996.These items not known to the owner, who refers to a stone coffin at the church (NHER 2433) (perhaps the crossed coffin slab recorded there).
