Summary

Metal detecting recovered three lead weights or spindle whorls, half a 13th or 14th century leaf seal and an enamelled horse harness pendant. The seal is inscribed S' R-LING. The horse harness pendant depicts the arms of Sir Robert de Wateville of Essex in 1312.

Armorial enamelled bronze horse harness pendant, shield shaped field with bordure indented and three chevrons gules.
Arms of Sir Robert de Wateville of Essex in 1312.
Lower half of 13th century lead pointed oval seal.
Device: seven pointed star and fleur de lys cast on reverse.
