Summary

A Bronze Age palstave was found in the early 1940s. A possible Neolithic flint axe and dagger are also recorded at this location, although they may be more recent reproductions.

1940 to 1944. Hockwold Fen, north of Clouds Farm, west of Headland Drove. Found in dragline work for Great Ouse River Authority.
Palstave, unlooped, shield decoration; pitted.

From same very approximate area, F. Healy (NAU) notes an unusual flint dagger with thick trapezoid butt and a flint axe made on a flake; both with ferruginous patina, may well be reproductions.
