Full Description
Before September 1980. Metal detecting. [1].
English half groat of James I. See (S1).
Found amongst remains of flint walls all over field, together with medieval and post medieval pottery.
Lead pilgrims ampulla with crown and W on one side and crown on the other. (S2) attributes to Walsingham.

Also at same time, an Irish silver farthing, see (S3), but minted in Waterford rather than Dublin.

Late Saxon strap end and unidentified copper alloy openwork object with Ringerike-style decoration.
