1976. Lime kiln in edge of pit.
Recorded as in good condition.
See (S1).
1979.
When house was visited, member of the public [1] denied there was any kiln there.

Site is marked on Costessey Tithe map 1839 (S2) and in White's Directory 1854-83 (S3). 25ins O.S. map 1913 shows pit but no kiln (S4)
