Full Description
1979-80. Surface finds in fieldwalking. Context 2 at grid reference TM 1817 9136.
Thetford type rim.
Early medieval ware rim.
Few late medieval sherds.
Many lead-glazed sherds including slipware.
Staffordshire slipware.
Stoneware and clay pipes.
Identifications by W. Milligan (NCM) 20 October 1980.

Context 1 whole field. Finds not kept separate from Context 2, but in addition to above there is one probable Roman coarseware rim.
Eighty medieval unglazed.
Four medieval glazed.
The lead glazed sherds mentioned are glazed red earthenware and the Staffordshire sherds are large.
Finds held by NCM.
