The site of a World War Two type 22 pillbox is visible on aerial photographs to the northeast of England’s Farm, Acle (S4). The site is centred on TG 3991 1115. This pillbox would have formed part of the defences of the searchlight battery (NHER 14473) to the west and Acle to the south.
