Full Description
1275. Letter of Inquisition describes this as site of a watermill, on a causeway 'anciently built'.
E. Rose (NAU), 25 November 1980.
Copy of inquisition in file shows that it was the mill that was anciently built 'on the causeway of Seetch', not that the causeway was anciently built. So the argument that this means the causeway was a Roman road is somewhat dubious.
E. Rose (NAU), 4 May 1988.
