Summary

This is a moated site, possibly dating to the medieval period, visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. Documentary evidence suggests that this may have been a tannery.

Marked to look like moat but seems far too small for this.
Note fieldname Tanners Piece to west, where many horn cores found by A. Rogerson (NAU)
