Full Description
December 1980. Southeast of Hill Farm, west of Bilney Hall lakes. Found while digging drains in marshy ground.
'Vast numbers' of bones, all apparently ribs, horned skulls and teeth.
Information from a local drainage contractor.
Examples of horns and teeth seen by E. Rose (NAU), and identified as cow. They were in good condition and not very stained.
