Summary

During the period of 1970-75 a collection of prehistoric flint implements was recovered from fields belonging to the farm here. Examples of scrapers, arrowheads and knives were identified from this lithic scatter. 1970-5. Finds from unspecified locations on Washpit Farm. Farmhouse at grid reference 8135 1965. Lands extend west and southwest of village. Surface finds. Flint tools. Collection not seen because not kept separate and not necessarily all retained. For full list see file. E.
