1977. Stray Find.
Found on the beach a quarter of a mile south-east of Cart Gap [1]:
1 Palaeolithic flint "Acheulean" handaxe. Pointed ovate, possibly reworked at the tip. On dark mottled greenish brown/black flint. Lightly rolled. Small area of cortex on less ridged face. See drawing (S1).
