Full Description
1981. South-south-east of Manor Farm [1].
Fragment of flint axehead (more details to come).
W. Milligan (NCM) 20 March 1981.
August - September 2007. Metal-detecting, site extended, previous findspot recorded [2].
1 ?Early Neolithic flint blade core (two-opposed platform), 2 core rejuvination flakes, 1 piercer and 5 flakes/flake fragments.
3 Roman coins, 8 Roman pottery sherds (greyware), 1 brooch fragment (Colchester) and 1 lead steelyard weight.
1 medieval pottery sherd (unglazed jug twisted handle) 1 seal matrix (inscription: 'I am the mark of trust'), 3 lead weights.
1 medieval/post-medieval buckle, 1 paper clip rivit, 1 vessel leg fragment, 1 purse frame fragment.
1 post medieval coin, 1 buckle, 1 lead 1/2oz weight, 1 rowel spur.
