Summary

Analysis of aerial photographs has revealed a linear cropmark probably of a road. This trackway is marked on an estate map dating to 1600 as the road from Bintree to Elsing.

See NHER 37623, the Bacton to King's Lynn proposed pipeline, plot 148, for a geophysical survey which detected a pair of strong parallel linear anomalies which appear to correspond more or less with this site.
