Summary

The timber-framed house here possible sits on a medieval manorial site. The house takes the form of an open hall medieval building with a cross wing to the north. A second block was added in 17th century and there have been numerous alterations since this time.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"C15 hall house floored in C16 and with C17 gabled cross wing on west end. Timber frame rendered. Steep black gabled pantile roof with gabled ends. Rendered brick chimney stack off centre. South front 3 gables, 2 are C17 or C18 additions. One storey and attic.”
