The Norwich Castle Museum holds a number of worked flints what were recovered by W. G. Clarke at "Earlham Grove" (NWHCM : 1926.32.14; Clarke's Site 14) - presumably this site. These are recorded as "undated prehistoric, possibly Mesolithic, flint implements."

Given as Neolithic on old Norwich card; although much of the material recorded as being from 'stone beds' is now though to be natural.

Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 20 July 2014.
