Summary

Roman brooches and pottery fragments, and medieval coins and pottery fragments, found by metal detecting. These are part of a much larger scatter, which suggests the presence of an Iron Age and Roman settlement nearby.

Found with metal detecting.

Find 48; Shortcross penny, class Vb, S not reversed; pellet in centre, Canterbury, Johan B, 1205 to 1208.
Find 47; 17th century French base metal coin. Double tournoise?, Dux of Nivernais.
