Full Description
Described by (S1) in 1962 as Georgian, brick, three stories (top being small servants storey), three bay pediment; large Victorian additions. Demolished "after the last war". Only a brick arch remains in the gardens and a mound known as Mount Ida. The sale catalogue of 1860 mentions an icehouse - information from Mrs James (KLM).

As of 1992, the icehouse is described by as an ice well up to 7m (20 to 30 feet )deep, smooth semi glazed brickwork, vertical sides. Entrance tunnel about 3m (12-15 feet)long, uusually wide, formerly had three doors. Formerly trees on mound. Hall long demolished but three cellars remain nearby perhaps to do with heating the greenhouses. One of these adjacent to ice-house may have been a game store.
Stable block still standing.
