Summary

Metal detecting between 1981 and 2003 recovered a number of objects from the Neolithic or Bronze Age, Roman, Middle and Late Saxon and medieval and post medieval periods. This includes pottery sherds and a strap fitting from the Middle and Late Saxon periods, as well as flint tools and a medieval horse harness pendant.
