Full Description
1940s or 1950s. Casual Find.
A ditch was observed by a member of the public in the sides of a northeast to southwest pipe trench at Thetford Station. The ditch was approximately 4.3m (14ft) wide and 3.7m (12ft) deep, dug into chalk.
In view of chalk natural, artifical nature of feature is possibly in doubt.
A. Gregory (NAU) July 1981.
