Map

Site of wind mill?
Marked as 'site of corn wind mill later replaced by Baptist Chapel now demolished' on sketch map of Ludham.
But text states there were only three mills in the village, at How Hill, High Mill and Lovers Lane.
E. Rose (NAU), 16 September 1981.
[1] states he has no record of a wind mill here, and the chapel was built in 1821, which makes a record from a directory (as the above is supposed to be) rather unlikely.
E. Rose (NAU), 24 September 1981.

However [1] has now found a reference to a wind mill on John Page's land, apparently this site, in the enclosure act of 1800, though it is not mentioned elsewhere.
E. Rose (NAU), 10 February 1982.
