Summary

A piece of worked red deer antler with a hole in it was found. It probably dates to the prehistoric period, although there are some signs of modern working too.

Before 1981. Surface find. Old Ordnance Survey field no.499. Exact location within field unknown.
Large shed red deer antler with basal perforation at right angles to the brow and bez tines, which are cut off. Beam cut off obliquely to its length, with two lateral notches, one of which is certainly fresh and recent.
