Summary

Fieldwalking in the early 1980s recovered prehistoric flint flakes; Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; fragments of a medieval quern; medieval mortar vessels and a medieval copper alloy object. Metal-detecting in 2015 recovered medieval coins as well as a Late Saxon brooch and post-medieval harness mount, buckle, cuff link, hooked sword belt mount and a clapper bell.
