Full Description
1967. Cottage demolished.
Flat lava quern, and round sandstone block with square hole, found in wall.
See (S1).

15 February 1983. BB 36. Area of house and garden walked under medium conditions.
Concentration of medieval pottery.
Unglazed, shelly and glazed Grimston.
At north end immediately south of east-to-west road.
Not counted.
Also in this area Roman jar rim, bowl rim and 1 Samian.
In area of house dark soil and rubble.
A selection only of post medieval pottery retained.
16th century to modern.
