Full Description
19 July 1977. NAU air photography.
Cropmarked enclosures are visible in aerial photographs.
D. Edwards (NAU), 22 December 1980.
The cropmarks are of a rectangular enclosure aligned north-to-south, filled with dots. They are quite probably a removed plantation like that to northeast, but in view of recently discovered rectangular buildings on Spong Hill caution should be exercised in identifications.
E. Rose (NAU), 15 October 1981.
November 2007. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of a rectangular enclosure have previously been recorded at this location. Mapping of the surrounding cropmarks shows that this feature forms part of a much larger complex of field boundaries of probable post medieval date. It is now recorded as part of NHER 1012.
J. Albone (NMP), 28 November 2007
