Summary

This grand house dates to the post medieval period but has a complex history. Some sections of the house may date to the 16th and 18th centuries but further work was carried out in the 19th century. The cellars have 19th century elements but may be earlier in date; and some of the cellar joists were probably originally parts of boats. A piece of 15th century stonework has been found in the garden here.
